18V nickel-metal hydride (Ni-MH) battery is a type of rechargeable battery similar to a nickel-cadmium (Ni-Cd) battery but without the expensive and environmentally unfriendly metal cadmium. This is why they are sometimes called the most environmentally friendly battery type. Our Ni-MH batteries have a higher capacity than Ni-Cds and suffer far less from the memory effect. They have 2.6 AMP hours (Ah) of power.
